The International McCormick Farmall Model A Tractor was launched in the United States in 1939. Power was provided by an overhead valve four cylinder petrol paraffin engine of 18 h.p. A novel feature of the Farmall A series was called "Cultivision" this enabled cultivators and other implements to be mounted on a tool-bar under the tractor giving the driver an unobstructed view of them working and a clear view down the rows of the crop. The rear axle had step-down gearing for maximum crop clarence. |
