Oliver OC3 Narrow Track Crawler Tractor

The Cletrac HG was the basis for the Oliver OC3. Cletrac was purchased by Oliver in 1944 or 45.  In 1951 they changed the model designation from HG to the Oliver OC3.  The OC3 was primarily a row crop crawler, four tread widths were available: standard 42 in. and specials 31, 60 and 68 in. all had a ground clarence of 20 inches.  Power was provided by a four cylinder engine which delivered 22 h.p. at the belt pulley and 18 h.p. at the draw-bar.  Transmission was via a three forward and one rear speed gearbox, the speed range was from 2.01 to 5.24 m.p.h.  Steering was by planetary gears.
