The Case Model SC 3 1944 Tractor. In 1941, Case introduced the S series, a total of 76,635 of all variants were built. The range consisted of various models which were as follows: S, SC, SC3, SC4, SO, SI, SEX and SOEX. The S series remained in production until 1954. Due to strikes no units were built during 1946. Notable modifications were: Bonnet design changed, together with rear wheels of a six spoke design in 1941. Relocation of the exhaust and air inlet which originally came through the centre of the bonnet. The rear mudguards were changed in 1942 to a shallower design. Hydraulic controls in 1950, Eagle hitch 1952, Foot clutch and throttle plus live PTO and standard starter together with lights 1953. |
