Minneapolis-Moline Model G1050 Diesel Tractor

The Minneapolis-Moline Model G1050 Tractor was available in either LP (Liquid Petroleum Gas) or diesel powered versions. The engine had an engine of 504 cubic inch displacement.  The diesel version produced 110 h.p. at the belt pulley and 102 h.p. at the power take-off shaft.  With a production run of a little less than three full years the G1050 was perhaps one of the least successful MM tractors. The power to weight ratio was quite poor, with other makers being able to offer more power at less cost not even the attractive design and advanced cab could hide the fact that this was not one of Minneapolis-Moline's finest efforts.
