David Brown VAK 1 C Cropmaster Tractor 1949

The David Brown VAK 1C Cropmaster Tractor replaced the VAK 1A in 1947.  It was the first tractor in the David Brown range the bear the name "Cropmaster".  Optional equipment included a six speed gearbox and a two speed power take-off.  The clutch could be operated by either a pedal or a hand lever.  Hydraulic linkage, a swinging draw-bar and electric lighting were other features of this advanced tractor.
